Thank you for your understanding as we adjust the schedule to help ensure athlete safety today, and congrats to all crews on fast racing! 

The racing schedule for tomorrow will continue as previously planned. We will not be rescheduling any cancelled racing today to tomorrow for the following reasons: 


Athlete Availability: Many athletes and teams have made travel plans based on the original schedule. We've heard from a number of you that teammates are leaving tonight or are unavailable tomorrow, which would impact the fairness and integrity of any rescheduled races.
Weather Forecast: We are closely monitoring the weather and anticipate potential conditions tomorrow that may again require schedule adjustments. Preserving flexibility in tomorrow’s timeline is critical to ensuring we can complete as much racing as possible.
Permit Limitations: Our event permits do not allow us to significantly extend the regatta beyond the currently approved schedule to allow all cancelled races (~4 hours) to be completed, ensuring all events have equal importance. 
 

For tomorrow’s racing, we are opening up the OAR dock for small boats (1x/2x/2-) to recover if desired, and we may re assign the launch and recovery lanes based on the conditions that we see tomorrow. We will let everyone know tomorrow if the launch and recovery patterns are tweaked. 

In the heats that raced today that did not have a completed final, we will be awarding medals off of the top three fastest times.

Saturday Race Cancellation & Sunday Schedule

Due to mud, we have moved the launch lane to be on the far left side of the beach. You will see the new control commission marked with a "launch area" sign and a white tent at control commission. If you have any questions, please find a referee or regatta staff member.
